***Eskon has never had someone decare on him unless he started something first***

What am I doing wrong??

I moved right where I told everyone I would..built what I think would be a nice target for someone to come and get with absolutely no defences..Hell I even parked on the border of an active!

And all I got was an invite to be in Satans Army :(

YOU PEOPLE SUCK!!!

I guess i have to go back to my old ways.

I have an OK country.
An OK country that is a rank higher than mine. (mine was two higher 5 hours ago )
Well at least you 2 will have some fun.
I hope I'll be there to have that fun. :S

Oh, btw, Warlord Ivans Headquarters in WG was the first country to ever declare on me. That was quite a while back. So New QAZY Land, you're only the second to ever declare on me. Nyah nyah nyah
j/k (about the nyah part) :)

I will be wathcing this conflict with interest.

Quazy, you sent me a proposal recently. My answer to it will depend on how things turn out in regard to this war of yours :)

Nimzovich, best of luck to you. I will be watching you as well :)

Nvm about what I said about hoping to be there to have that fun--I made a miscalculation about the date. I thought it would be June by now. And I call myself a math major. Geez.

Btw QAZY, are you sure you want to continue war when I have about 300 fortifications to blast through? :O It's nothing like how many Sal had in The Second Republic before her countries were reset, but it'll still take several hours to tear down

Well, we'll see what happens. It's a good possibility that I might just get tired of attacking and just stop, but that all depends on my mood. The war should be starting in about 3 hours. I'll be ready.

Yeah, ya need about 9,500 to beat my final total for defensive fortifications. :)

A lot of good those forts did me--I lose 50 of them, and when I arrive I have 2.5% War Situation Index. My next transmission will probably be as a refugee from my own country. :(

I am officially a refugee. This is from my CEO account. I guess I'll look for another country to start fresh on. At least I took out a couple of my nonprofitable corporations in the process. :)

Well, I won. Good game Nimzovich, you almost gave me a heart attack at the end there... If you could have found my artillery, you could have probably taken me. Luckily, you didn't.

That was my first real war in about 6 months and I have to say, it was a good one. Now on to killing the number 2 ranked guy on WG.

This isn't over, QAZY . I have fled to my former slave country. (I'm glad I made it fairly economically sound before resets deregged it from me.) I will have my vengeance! MUAHAHAHA!!!!

hey nimz, how about we have peace, I don't feel like spending 3 hours destroying forts again. I'm sending a peace treaty to Spassky from both New QAZYSTAN and New QAZY Land. If they are not accepted I guess I'll have to declare war again.

Remember the calculations we did to figure how much time it would take someone to take The Second Republic out? I think we were all way off. It would only take about 30-40 minutes for one person to destroy enough forts. The rest of the war would take a normal amount of time. At least, that's what I'd predict based on the outcome of my war with QAZY.

no.

Those calculations would have been correct. For a sufficiently small country, it is necessary to get all the points possible from the miltary-destruction index, which means destroying all fortifications.

Ive recently been required to destroy a few hundred fortifications in golden rainbow (although I had help, thank god for Ingenious Monkeys ;) )

Then how did I get knocked down so low when I went from 290 forts to 240 forts?

Congratulations to both players involved, this was one of the rare 'mature' wars.

nimzovich, I might suggest that you move to an inactive deevloped country and conquer it instead. There are a number of good ones, I can advise you on them if youd like.

If that isnt satisfactory, Im even willing to give you a country :P

Quazy land, congrats.

If youre still interested, youre accepted. Speak to me if and when you are ready to move, we have a homeland prepared for you, along with a number of prime choices of real estate to give away.

Im only a bit disappointed that Nimz here hadnt build a more challenging defense ;)

Hoep you 2 had fun beating the crap out of each other with jeeps :-)

You war index was not reduced by losing the fortifications. It was reduced by monetary damage and populatoin losses.

if youre online, come into the IRC channel, its easier ot talk that way :P

another big factor in the loss was the fact that you overloaded your country with weapons causing your trade index to fall due to lack of workers, thus allowing your country to fall more easily.

If you hadn't done that you would probly still be fighting.

Maybe, but I doubt it. I had ~50-55% employment, and I lost ~10% of my population in that battle bloodbath. I might have had a chance if I had logged in 5 game days sooner. Oh well.

At least I took out a couple of my nonprofitable corporations in the process.
In a maneuver that I thought would release my CEO from debt, I destroyed two young corporations (where I put all of my CEO's debt) and landed in even more debt than I started with. Talk about a miscalculation! It is painfully clear to me how much of a noob I am in the CEO aspect (and relative noob in the war aspect). :(
